VIETNAM WAR
The Vietnam war started on the 1st of November, 1955 in Vietnam. It's reason for it's beginning was where there was contracted conflict that had then made home for a communist government of North Vietnam. They declared to go against South Vietnam and their principals ally, the United States, and off course the war was about a large regional conflict and part of the Cold War between the Soviet Union and United states. As this declaration, it had involved South Vietnam, United states, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, China, Viet Cong, North Korea and a wide range of other countries. In order to fight North Vietnam, they created and insurgency called the national liberation Front, or known as the Viet Cong to be formed against anti governments of Vietnam and against the communist and was created to help on the frontline to support countries such as the United States and Australia. As the war continued to rage on, the US Air force needed more protection as South Vietnam weren't very organised and weren't using much protection for The US, so America dispatched their Marines. Their Marines landed in South Vietnam on the 8th of March, 1965 with the numbers of 3,500 marines ready to fight as this marked the beginning of American ground war.
